FAQ
How do I start working with a Transcript with embedded hotkeys?
Using embedded hotkeys in Claudio transcripts
When you submit your job to Claudio for specific Profiles including General Transcription and Legal Hearing, you can expect to receive a transcript with hotkeys highlighted in yellow at the top of the document.
TIP: You can check out which profiles Claudio supports, here.
These hotkeys are provided for the most common notations in the transcript, making it easier for you to edit the transcript. These notations can include speakers, breaks, and other common events expected in the recording.
Depending on the profile you used the hotkeys can vary, but will be present at the beginning of the Claudio transcript for your reference. They can be used to navigate the transcript efficiently which can greatly simplify the editing process for you.
NOTE: Claudio produces machine generated transcripts using Claudio and it includes a cover page, headers, and footers (formatted document). After receiving the transcript, you only need to fill out any missing fields on the cover page, header, and footer. The body (main text) of the transcript is generated for you.
