How to convert .dcr media file to .mpeg on Liberty Player.
Export Liberty Player dcr file
- Open Liberty Player:
Launch the Liberty Player software on your computer. - Load the .DCR File:
Navigate to the File menu in the top left corner.
Select Open, then browse to the location of your .dcr file.
Choose the file and click Open to load it into Liberty Player.

Export the File to MPEG-4:
- Once the .dcr file is loaded, go back to the File menu.
- Select Export to MPEG-4... from the dropdown options.

Choose the Save Location:
- A new window will appear, prompting you to select the destination folder where you want to store the converted MPEG-4 file.
- Choose your preferred folder and click Export.

Monitor the Conversion:
- The conversion process will begin, and you can track its progress both within Liberty Player and in the title bar.
- Wait for the conversion to complete.

Locate the Converted File:
- Once the conversion is finished, go to the folder you selected earlier.
- You should now see the newly converted .MPEG-4 file.

Use the File for Transcription:
- The MPEG-4 file is now ready to be used for transcription in Loom Analytics Claudio.
