Editing the timestamp format in Express Scribe is a very simple and straightforward process.

Follow the steps below to see how it is done:

Click "Options"...


Click on "Display"...


Check that the "Time format" dropdown menu is reading "hh:mm:ss (with leading zero)"

Insert the "<" symbol for the "Prefix"


Insert the  ">" symbol for the "Suffix"

Press "OK" to finalize your changes
