What is Unified Flow or Claudio Web (Beta)?
Unified Flow is the new streamlined way to submit transcription jobs in Claudio Web (Beta). This updated workflow consolidates three separate submission methods—Quick Start, Advanced Transcript Requests, and Claudio IME—into a single, intuitive process for transcribing and translating audio, video, and documents.
How Unified Flow Works
Unified Flow guides you through a step-by-step process to submit your transcription job. The workflow adapts based on the profile you select, ensuring you only see relevant options for your specific transcription needs.
Step 1: Select Your Profile
Start by choosing the transcription profile that matches your needs. Each profile is designed for specific use cases:
- General Transcription - For transcribing conversations and general audio content
- Insurance Interview - For recorded statements, field notes, and examination under oath proceedings
- Legal Hearing - For legal dictation, court proceedings, depositions, and discoveries
- IME with Structured Doc Extraction - For medico-legal dictations with document extraction
- Legal Dictation - For legal dictation, court proceedings, depositions, and discoveries
- Media Transcription - For media content transcription
- Medical Dictation - For medical dictation and healthcare documentation
Once you select a profile, click continue to proceed. You'll see a confirmation message that your "Profile configuration loaded."
Note: Based on your team, region and account profile settings, you might see additional profiles.
Step 2: Upload Media Files
Upload the media files you want transcribed. The upload screen provides clear guidelines:
- Supported file types: .dct, .mkv, .trm, .000, .wmv, .asf, .vob, .avi, .wma, .ogv, .oga, .ogg, .m4v, .a00, .dss, .ds2, .dcr, .mp2, .mp3, .mp4, .mov, .m4a, .wav
- Maximum file size: 2048 MB per file or total file size
- Maximum files: 100 files per submission
You can either click to select files or drag and drop them into the upload area. The system supports multiple file uploads at once for batch processing.
Optional: Set Start and End Times
For each uploaded file, you can optionally specify start and end times if you only need a portion of the audio transcribed. This is shown in the START and END columns of the file list. Simply enter the timestamp in the format shown (e.g., 00:00:02 to 00:00:05).
Once your files are uploaded and configured, you'll see a confirmation message: "Great! Your files are ready. Click 'Continue' to proceed."
Step 3: Configure Format Settings
The Format Settings step lets you customize how your transcript will look. These options are organized into collapsible sections, making it easy to adjust only what you need. The interface provides smart defaults for each profile, so if you're satisfied with the standard settings, you can simply click "Continue" without making any changes.
Who's Speaking
Control how speakers are identified in your transcript. This section allows you to configure speaker identification settings, including the ability to add speaker labels to distinguish between different voices in your audio.

You can navigate back to previous steps using the "Previous" button or proceed to the final review by clicking "Continue."
