How to Edit Loom Analytics Court Transcripts on a Mac

For most Loom Analytics-generated transcripts/documents, you can use the "Speaker Identification" option to separate each speaker instead of editing one block of text and manually inputting each speaker.

However, we recommend disabling this feature when generating court transcripts, which we explain in more depth in this article. As a result, you will need to manually input each speaker and format the speaker labels according to what is happening in the court proceeding.

To speed up this process and make it more efficient, we've developed a suite of legal-relevant hotkeys built directly into each Loom Analytics transcript. Using these hotkeys will auto-insert pre-formatted speaker placeholders that you can easily search and replace afterward.

Below are the list of Mac keyboard shortcuts (hotkeys) that are built into your Loom Analytics-generated court transcripts.
