How Do I Uninstall Loom Analytics Desktop Without Losing My Credits?

The below article explains your uninstall options and what happens to your credits and data

Important: Read all three options before you uninstall.

  1. Close Loom Analytics Desktop.
  2. Open Windows Settings ▸ Apps ▸ Installed apps.
  3. Find Loom Analytics Desktop and choose Uninstall.
  4. Choose one of the options below.

Online

Unused credits return to your cloud account. Requires internet, and you may need to sign in.

You have unused credits to keep

Offline

The app is removed without contacting the server. Unused credits on this computer are lost.

You have no internet and no credits to protect

Preserve Data

Your local database and credits are kept and restored when you reinstall.

You're reinstalling or upgrading

Note: Your My Jobs folder sits outside the program folder, so your recordings and transcripts survive uninstalling.
