How Do I Complete the First-Run Setup Wizard?

The wizard takes about two minutes. You can change every choice later in Settings, so nothing is locked in.

Step	What you choose
Welcome	Nothing to enter. Click through to begin.
1. Capture	Your main microphone and your main speaker or headset.
2. Transcription	Your preferred engine, Offline (on this computer) or Loom Analytics Cloud, plus a fallback engine.
3. Playback	Playback keyboard shortcuts, foot pedal, and audio output device.
4. Storage	Where transcripts and recordings are saved, whether to back up to an external drive, and whether to sync to the cloud.
5. Accessibility	Light or dark theme, text size, colour-vision filters, and editor panel layout.
Finish	A summary of your selections. Click Finish Setup.

Note: Your preferences are saved to your account, so signing in on another computer restores them.
